Presentation

Good Morning, everybody.
When President Bush addressed the American people, and the world, two days before initiating a U.S.-led attack against Iraq, he said: "We are now acting because the risks of inaction would be far greater."
My topic for today is not the Iraq war, but the risk of doing nothing.

The world is more turbulent today, new opportunities and challenges spring up every minute, in other words, the world is much riskier today. Everything seems to be more interconnected. The result is we are more easily to get lost when we ask ourselves what to do and why we do it. So, there comes a very real and genuine risk in thinking about everything but doing nothing. We ponder more, absorbed in the mental world, sometimes even forgetting our distance to reality. When we wake up, in most cases, the opportunities have already gone over us to another person.
Those bygones won't wait for you or come back to you. You are very likely to regret losing the opportunity and then, start meditating. Everyone will have this moment. I understand. But, don't spend too much time on it. You are taking a risk when sitting or lying there doing nothing. Other people are working hard to go up the ladder. They seize the opportunity which you let slip. I know it can be very sad but, WAKE UP! Do not go to risks again!
You need to stand up and start to do something. You need to prepare for your next opportunity and change the situation. So do something. Get down to your business because the risks of inaction would be far greater.
